Warm introductions from the professionals your clients already trust
Introduced by their own accountant or solicitor, with the client's consent — not scraped from a list. No cold leads, no per-lead fees, no marketing spend. You pay only when a case completes.
A pipeline you don't have to build
You know what buying leads is like: cold contacts who never asked to hear from you, a fee for every one whether or not it completes, and data whose origin you'd rather not examine. It's expensive, it converts badly, and your compliance team dislikes it for good reason.
SmartPeer is the opposite. Every introduction comes from a professional firm — an accountant, a solicitor — passing on a client who asked for help and gave their consent. You receive a warm, documented introduction in your area, and you pay a share of your fee only when the work completes. It is a referral network, not a lead vendor.
What partnering gives you
- Warm introductions from a client's own trusted professional — never a cold list
- Consent captured and evidenced before anything reaches you
- A documented introduction — who referred them, and the services the client agreed to
- Introductions in your vertical, at a volume matched to the capacity you tell us you have
- No upfront cost, no per-lead fee, no subscription — you pay only when a case completes
- A partner portal that tracks every introduction from arrival to completion
How it works, from your side
A professional refers
A client's own accountant or solicitor identifies a need for advice — a pension to review, a will to write — and refers them to the platform.
The client opts in
The client agrees to be introduced and consents online — choosing the services they're happy to be referred for — before anything is shared. They can also complete a short, optional fact-find here.
It arrives with you
A warm, documented introduction lands in your portal with what you need to make contact quickly — within the service standard we agree.
You advise, then settle
You do what you do best. When the case completes, commission settles through the platform — clear, itemised, on a schedule you can see.
Serious on both sides
We vet every member firm before it can introduce a client, and we hold ourselves to the quality of what reaches you. In return we ask you to act on introductions quickly — the introducing firm has staked its own client relationship on the handover, and protecting that trust is what keeps the network worth being in.
You pay for outcomes, not attempts
The model is simple, and built to align us with you: you pay a share of your fee, and only when a case actually completes. There's nothing to pay to join, nothing per lead, and no monthly software charge — if an introduction never turns into business, it never costs you anything.
Commission applies to the business that follows from an introduced client for an agreed period, so a relationship that keeps giving is recognised on both sides. It's all set out in a straightforward Introducer Agreement — the contract under which we introduce clients to your firm — signed before a single client is referred. We'll talk the exact terms through with you directly; they belong in a conversation about your firm, not on a web page.
What you'll never pay
The costs that make lead-buying painful simply aren't here.
- No joining fee
- No cost per lead or per introduction
- No monthly platform or software charge
- Nothing for an introduction that doesn't complete
Compliance your team can sign off
An introduction is only worth having if it's clean. Every client reaches you having personally consented to the share, for the services they chose, with that consent recorded and evidenced — so you're never starting from an anonymous, unconsented contact.
SmartPeer is the network and the introducer — we never give the advice. You remain the regulated firm, responsible for suitability, the advice itself, and your own KYC and anti-money-laundering checks, exactly as you would be for any client. That keeps the responsibility boundary clear and exactly where it should be.
What your compliance team gets
- Explicit client consent to the introduction, captured and evidenced before anything is shared
- A clear record of which services the client agreed to be introduced for
- The client's own contact details confirmed on the secure consent form
- A documented data-sharing basis for every introduction
- An Introducer Agreement setting the commercial and data terms in writing, signed before you go live
- A clean responsibility boundary — you own the advice, suitability and your own KYC/AML; we're the introducer, never the adviser
- A service-standard understanding, so the introducing firm's client is looked after promptly

Partner questions, answered straight
Is this compliant?
Yes — it's built to be. Every client personally consents to the introduction before anything is shared, for the services they choose, and that consent is recorded. You remain the regulated firm — responsible for the advice, for suitability, and for your own KYC and anti-money-laundering checks, exactly as with any client. SmartPeer is the introducer, never the adviser.
What does it cost?
Nothing to join, nothing per lead, and no monthly charge. You pay a share of your fee only when a case completes — so an introduction that doesn't turn into business never costs you anything. We agree the exact terms with you directly.
What do we actually sign?
An Introducer Agreement — the contract under which SmartPeer introduces clients to your firm. It sets out the commercial terms, the data-sharing basis and the service standard, and it's signed before any client is referred. We structure it to fit your firm's regulatory setup, which is part of the conversation once you apply.
How many introductions will I get?
As many as fit your vertical and the capacity you tell us you have — no more. We'd rather send you introductions you can look after well than flood you with more than you can handle. It's why admissions open and close by area.
Can my compliance team review the detail before we commit?
Absolutely. Once you apply, we share a compliance pack covering the Introducer Agreement, consent, data-sharing, and where responsibility for KYC and suitability sits — everything your compliance officer needs — and we'll walk through anything specific to your firm before terms are agreed.
What's expected of me in return?
That you act on introductions promptly — the introducing firm has put its own client relationship on the line — and that you keep the client well looked after. We agree a service standard so both sides know what good looks like.
