Who we are

SmartPeer operates a referral network connecting professional firms with carefully selected providers of financial advice and estate-planning services. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect and why

Member firms and their staff: business and contact details, Companies House information, commission and payment records — to operate the network, meet our contractual obligations and keep required financial records.

Referred clients: the contact details a member submits, the choices the client makes on their secure consent form, and any additional information the client volunteers. Client details are shared with a receiving firm only after the client's explicit consent, and only for the services they tick.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time using the link in any email we send. Financial records we are legally required to keep (for example commission records) are retained for six years in a form that identifies transactions, not marketing profiles.

Who we share data with

Receiving firms (with client consent), our service providers (hosting, email delivery, document storage), and authorities where the law requires. We never sell personal data.
